Required Qualification:
For Engineering / Technology Courses–interested
students must have passed 2nd PUC/12th or equivalent exam with Physics &
Mathematics as a compulsory subjects and English as a language subject.
Applicants must have secured 45% marks in physics &
mathematics along with any one of the following subjects
Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Electronics/Computer for general candidates
and 40% marks for reserved categories.
For Pharmacy/Medical / Dental Courses- Applying
aspirants must have passed 2nd PUC/12th or equivalent exam with physics,
chemistry, biology and English as a language subject.
Appliers must have obtained 50% marks in PCB group for general
categories and 40% marks for reserved categories.
Application Fee:
- For Gen/OBC Category): Rs. 650/-
- For SC/ST category: Rs. 500/-
Method of Hiring: Selection of candidates
will be made as per performance in KCET Exam.
For admission to Medical and Dental Courses:
Students are required to attend National Cum Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) which
will be conducted by CBSE.
For admission to Architecture Courses:
Students will have to appear for NATA which will be conducted by Council of
Architecture.

Karnataka CET Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants should have passed the qualifying examination which is Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 level) or its equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as necessary subjects.
- Along with Physics and Mathematics candidate must pass the qualifying exam with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science as optional subjects.
- General category applicants have to obtain a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam and applicants belonging to the SC, ST, Category-I and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) category have to score a minimum of 40% aggregate marks.
- Domicile Criteria must be fulfilled by every candidate as declared by the KEA.
Age Limit: Applying applicant’s minimum age should be 17
years.

- The application must be sent through a envelope of 25 cm x 30 cm size (cloth lined envelops are preferred)
- The envelop should be self addressed
- A demand draft must be attached with the application form with requisite fees
- The application form need to be submitted along with necessary documents supporting the eligibility criteria offered by the Examination Authority of Karnataka

- The document verification for special category candidates will be done through the office of the KEA at 18th Cross at Malleswaram, Bangalore
