The Uttar Pradesh Police Department Constable Recruitment has closed applicant’s registration process for Constable

(Male & Female) Posts. They are ready to release the UP Police Recruitment Merit List on its official site this time. All candidates who had applied and wish to join this job opening may examine their names into the Selected Candidates List through official website of Uttar Pradesh Police Department Constable Recruitment. For selection of Constable in here will be no Written Examination organized by the board for the appointment of Constable. The appointment totally will be based on 10^th/12^th exam marks Merit. The UP Police Constable Merit List will be prepared on the basis of Marks obtained in High School (class 10th) and Intermediate (class 12th) Exam and the marks in PET (Race) for 4.8 K.M. (Male) and 2.4 KM for Female.

UP Police New Selection Process

Mr. Akhilesh Yadav who is the honorific Chief Minister (CM) of Uttar Pradesh (UP) has lately provided news regarding the New Selection Scheme for Constable Posts. According to new rules, Selection of interested applicants will be done only on the basis of Merit List which will be ready on the basis of their Marks acquired in High School or Intermediate Exam.

It has kept the social and sectarian harmony through implementing a sense of security during the people. In this regard, an all round development is ensured by the department from its inception. It lays emphasis on modernization in the areas of training and technical aids, such as the use of digital technology and updated telecommunication devices.

The Merit List for 34716 Constable Male and Female (Sipahi) Vacancies in UP Police will be based on Marks of class high school (10^th) / intermediate (12^th) exam. Accordance to new rule for appointment of Constable in UP Police, the applicable applicants will be selected on Physical Efficiency Test (PET) including Race (दौड़). The PET for Race will be organized for 4.8 K.M. (किलोमीटर) for male applicants. Contenders who complete the race in 17-minute will get full marks (200). The female applicants are required to complete the (RUN) for 2.4 K.M. In this process, applicants will obtain the marks according to time spent in race.

पुरुष अभ्यर्थियों के लिए 4.8 किलोमीटर की दौड़ पर २०० अंक निर्धारित हैं।  17 मिनट में यह दौड़ पूरी करने पर २०० अंक मिलेंगे, लेकिन १५ सेकंड पीछे होने पर २ अंक घट जायेंगे. अगर वही यह दौड़ 27 मिनट में पूरी करने पर सिर्फ 120 अंक ही मिलेंगे. इसी तरह महिलाओं को भी 2.4 किलोमीटर की दौड़ पूरी करनी होगी.

Physical Standard:

For Male Candidates:

• Height– 168 cm. (160 cm Only for ST Candidates)
• Weight– According to Height But Min. 50 Kg.
• Chest– 79 cm. (77 cm Only for ST Candidates). (Expanding 5 cm, compulsory)

For Female Candidates:

• Height– 152 cm. (147 cm Only for ST Candidates)
• Weight– Min. 40 Kg. Compulsory

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• 4.8 Km. in 27 Minutes for For Male
• 2.4 Km. in 18 Minutes for Female
• Race Marks- 200 (If Complete 4.8 km in 17 Min)
• Race Marks- 120 (If Complete 4.8 km in 27 Min)
