JEE
Qualification Criteria:
Applying students must have qualified 12th examination with 5
subjects to get eligible for JEE Main 2019. The qualifying examination must be
appeared with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. There
is no minimum marks requirement in 12th examination for writing the
JEE Main exam. However, candidates have to secure only the passing marks as per
the board rules.
Age
Limit: Those students who was born on or after 1st
October 1993 are eligible for writing the JEE Main examination. 5 years
relaxation shall be provided in the upper age limit of SC/ST & PWD
candidates (i.e. DOB falls on or after 1st October 1988). Date of Birth of
applying candidates will be considered as mentioned in secondary education
board certificate.
JEE Main Attempts: applicants interested for admission in IIT/ IIM will get
total 3 attempts for clearing the JEE Main. On the other hand, JEE Advanced can be attempted
maximum 2 times in consecutive years.
Eligibility
For Admission in IITs, NITs, CFTIs: To to take admission in
IITs, NITs, CFTIs, candidates should have obtained 75% marks in 12th
examination or must be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th examination of
respective boards. The qualifying marks for SC/ST will be 65%.
Application Fee: Applicants need to

Method of Hiring: Selection
of candidates will be made on the basis of JEE
Exam
Pattern: JEE Main Exam Pattern is described here with all
the details. JEE Exam Pattern provides details about number of questions,
subjects covered, marking scheme, etc. JEE Main is conducted in two different
papers and details of both JEE Main Paper-I and JEE main Paper-II are provided

For
JEE Main Paper-1:
JEE Paper-1 is conducted for getting admission in
to B.E./B.Tech courses. Paper 1 will be offline (PBT) as
well as online (CBT). Candidates can opt. any one of the modes as per
their suitability. JEE paper-1 will consist of Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics subjects in which 30 questions will be asked from each subject
with total of 90 questions comprising of 360 marks. Only objective type
questions will be asked in Paper-1.

All exam cities, the
question paper medium choice will be English & Hindi (except exam
centre cities in Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli where
choices for question paper will be English, Hindi and Gujarati).
Candidates can choose their mode for answering the questions at the time of
filling JEE Main Registration form. Total time given to complete the exam
is 3 hours. Candidates will be provided with +4 marks on every
correct answer and for wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.
For
JEE Main Paper-2:
JEE Main Paper-2 is conducted for admission
to B.Arch/ B.Planning courses. The exam mode for this paper will be offline
(PBT) mode only. Total 30 questions will be asked in Mathematics (Part-1),
50 questions in aptitude test (Part-2) and 2 questions in drawing comprising of
total 390 marks. The Mathematics and Aptitude test section will contain objective
type questions in which Drawing test will be subjective.
For all exam cities, the question paper medium choice
will be English & Hindi (except exam centre cities in Gujarat, Daman
& Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli where choices for question paper will be
English, Hindi and Gujarati). Applicants can choose the option of medium while
filling JEE Main 2019 Registration form. Time allotted to complete the exam

Main New Changes:
Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has made some
changes in the pattern of JEE Mains. Therefore before applying for
JEE you should know about JEE mains changes that are introduced last year. Here
are the points that are changed:
- No weightage will be given to 12th class marks for calculating All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main.
- For admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, students must have at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST) in higher secondary examination or must be in top 20 percentile in class 12th examination conducted by respective boards.
- Moreover, applying students will need their Aadhaar Card Number to fill the JEE application form.
- Students from Meghalaya, J & K and Assam are excluded from this provision. Such students have to enter passport number, ration card number, bank account number or any other valid Govt. identity number to get examination centre in these states only.

- Press on the suitable link.

Record: Applying
applicants must have passed intermediate mark sheet form any
recognized Board/Institute. Applicants must have taken at least five subjects
in class 12th/qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE
