Counselling Procedure:
Online registration:
- Very first steps for students are to complete the online registration which can be done after the payment of registration fee. The payment of fee will pay via the online mode by using the debit card / credit card and net banking facility.
- Choice Filling and visiting Of Choices:
- At the time of registration, applicants will need to fill their choices for courses and colleges. After selection of applicants, lock their choices for final selection.
- Online Seat Allotment, Initial Fee Deposition:
- Based on Merit List, appliers will be allocated seats over a number of rounds of CCMT Seat Allotment.
- Aspirants, who are assigned a seat, are required to deposit an initial fee using the particular e-Challan. After payment, they need to report any one of the reporting centers or allotted institutes.

- Printout of the registration form, locked choices, provisional seat allotment letter downloaded from the CCMT website.
- Allotment Letter
- Original GATE score card
- Photo ID proof as per Govt. of India norms
- Mark sheet of Class X, XII
- Proof of payment of fees.
Process
to Apply for CCMT:
- Applicants are required to register online giving their Email ID and details of their GATE exam
- Login and enter their personal details, academic qualifications and address
- Pay the Application/Registration Fee before being allowed to fill their choices of courses and institutes
- Enter their choices for M.Tech courses offered and their preferred institutes
- Candidates must print the registration form for future reference
