Note:
Applicants whose educational qualifications like 8th class will also be
considered for the Goa Shipyard Recruitment but only if they have an additional
experience of minimum 2 years in the respective field. The trades for which the
lower qualified candidates can apply are: Cook, Carpenter, Painter, Painter
(FTE), Plumber (FTE), Mason, Mason (FTE), Rigger, Letter Painter, Blasting cum
spray painter, Unskilled and Wireman.
Age Limit:
For the general candidates:
Maximum: 33 years
For the OBC candidates:
Maximum: 36 years
For the SC/ST candidates:
Maximum: 38 years.
Rest of the Relaxation in age limit for external
applicants for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD/Ex-Serviceman will be as per Government of
India guidelines in force.
Note:
Applicants who are seeking reservation as SC/ST/OBC (NCL) they need to submit
their caste certificate, in the prescribed format.
Application
Fee:
Contenders are required to submit an amount of Rs.200/- as the application
fees.
SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/departmental applicants are
exempted from paying the application amount
Mode
to submit the application amount: Candidates will submit fee
in the form of Demand Draft which will be drawn in favour of “Goa Shipyard
Limited” payable at Vasco-Da-Gama, Goa
Note: Applicants
are advised to write their application registration Number, Name, Mobile Number
and Name of post applied for on the reverse side of Demand Draft
Selection
Process: Applicants will be
selected on the basis of Written Test/Practical Test / Trade Test which will be
followed by the interview procedure.
- The details regarding the Written Test/Practical Test / Trade Test will be sent to the applicants via the e-mail only.
- Applicants who are working in any government organization or any other autonomous busy they are required to submit their “No Objection Certificate” issues by the present organization.
- Payment of TA shall be made by ECS only, after completion of the selection way.
Pay Band: After selection
successfully, applicants will get salary package of Rs.6000-16950/- per month
Benefits such as DA, HRA and other allowances shall be
applicable to the grade as per rules.
