Age Limit:
- Minimum: 11½ years
- Maximum: 13 years
Scholarships
Details: Scholarships are approved by different state Govts to
praiseworthy students.
- Amount of scholarships is different from state to state and the amount is in between Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 20,000/- per annum.
- Maintenance of Scholarship once granted by the state is matter to merit, income and discipline of the cadet and his presentation during the year.
Application Fee: Candidates need to
pay given below application fee.
- Presently the fee is Rs. 42,400/- per year.
- It may increase from time to time.
- At the time of entry , the amount of Security Deposit of Rs. 20000/- is to be made.

Viva
Voce:
- Interview is going to be conduct in October
- Interview will be held for only those contenders who qualify written exam
- Minimum pass marks in Interview is 50%
- Date, venue for interview will be intimated to them by particular State early by September.
- Aptitude and qualities of contenders is going to be judge in the Interview.
Medical
Exam:
- Selected contenders after the viva-voce will have to face medical exam at selected Military Hospitals
- Only those candidates who will found medically fit will get admission to the RIMC.
- Medical exam of contenders forms only a part of the organization of selection and does not involve the last selection.

an account payee bank demand draft of Rs. 550/- for General students Rs. 505/-

- Demand draft will be made in favour of “The Commandant RIMC Dehradun”, Drawee branch, State Bank of India, Tel Bhavan, Dehradun (Band Code-01576), Uttarakhand .
- Address should be Typed/Written clearly in Capital Letters with Pincode and contact number.
- RIMC will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit of prospectus caused by illegible or incomplete address.
- Application forms issued by RIMC only shall be applicable.
- Locally printed/photocopied and without RIMC hologram (Seal) forms shall not be received.
Submission
of Application Form
- Wards of Central Government employees, in order to confirm the past history of such applicants, the State (where such candidates mean taking the written test) are free to ask for service certificates over and above the schedule documentation.
- The State where applicants emerge should also gratify themselves with respect to stead of duty of the parent/guardian.
- Other than the above, state are to make sure that no other students must be send to the State Govts and not to the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
