icmr.nic.in JRF Online Registration Form Overview
Educational Qualification: Applicants must have M.Sc.
/M.A. or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks (for General/OBC) Candidates
and 50% marks (for the SC/ST & physically handicapped) from recognized
University or Institutions.
Those students are pursuing / have appeared in the final year of
M.Sc. /M.A. or Equivalent Examination they are eligible to apply for the test
as RA (Result Awaited).
Age Limit: Candidates age must have
maximum
28 years.
Relaxation in age will be applicable for SC/ST,
physically handicapped (PH) and female candidates of 5 years, 3 years for OBC
category candidates.

Selection Process: Students
will be selected on the basis of their qualifying marks in ICMR JRF Entrance
Examination followed by other process of admission.
Essential Note: Each
question carries one mark and negative marking @ 0.25 will be made for each of
the wrong answer.

Test
Scheme: The test will consist of one paper of 2 hours duration.
The paper will consist of 2 Sections.
Section A:
- Aptitude Section will have 50 questions and all these questions would be compulsory with each question carrying 1 mark.

- Common Statistics
Section B & C: Life
Sciences and Social Science
Candidates can attempt questions in either of the two
areas. Each area of section B & C would have 100 questions and the
candidate may attempt any 75 questions in the predesigned area of Section B or
C.

- Before apply online, you have a valid personal email ID. In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he/she must make his/her new email ID before applying Online.
- You must fill up online application form.
- Upload scanned photograph and signature of requisite size.
- You must submit application form.
- Now take a print out for future use.
