STEP-1 Registration and Payment of Registration Fee:
- Dear candidates to get registered, you need to use their Application Number and Password but for that you should check official website that is upsee.nic.in.
- This is same Application Number and Password which were used by candidates during for filling of the Application Form and downloading of hall token.
- Then filling and completion, submit it by entering on “SUBMIT” Button.
- Now, submit Registration fee (Fee Details on below), The Fee has to be paid only ONLINE using Credit Card / Debit Card/Internet Banking.
STEP-II Online Choice Filling / Choice Locking:
- After registration successfully and payment of the registration fee, you can proceed to fill up their choices.
- Now fill their choices and may alter/modify/delete or add choices before locking them until the last date of choice filling as per his convenience.
- After done in whole aspects, go for “Save” option. REMEMBER, ONCE CHOICES ARE LOCKED, NO CHANGE WOULD BE ALLOWED.
- Lastly, take a printout of ‘locked’ choices with you for future use.
STEP-III (Verification Of Documents):
- Contenders, that get provisionally selected needs to bring documents in original for document verification also with two photocopies of each at the designated verification centers to verify Documents.
- After the successful completion of verification of documents, applicants will be provided PIN / OTP (One Time Password) for filling choices by the means of SMS on his / her registered Mobile Number.
- For the next steps in counselling procedure, One Time Password is very important. So, all qualified applicants will ensure that he/she received OTP.
STEP-IV (Confirmation of Seat):
- Once the Choice filling procedure get over, seats are allotted to deserving contenders on the basis of provisionally selected list.
- Contenders that get shortlisted need to confirm his/her allotted seat by depositing required confirmation fee within particular period of time.
- In case, selected appliers unable to submit fee within prescribed time limit, then his/her allotment of seat will get automatically cancelled.
- Then, the cancelled seat will get accessible for other interested rank holders.

Fee Structure:
- General/OBC candidates need to pay fee of Rs 20000 and Rs 12000 (for SC/ST Category candidates).
- The Registration Fee of applicants, who gets allotted a seat and withdraws (through “WITHDRAW” Option) as per provision, after deduction of administrative charges with a rate of Rs 2000 per round of counseling in which the candidate has participated, shall be refunded online in the same account.
