- Candidates who are in their fifth or sixth semester of a Bachelor’s programme or in their fifth, sixth, seventh or eighth semester of an integrated or dual degree programme are capable to apply for it.
- Appliers must have aggregate marks of 85 % and above or CGPA 8.5 / 10 and above of completed semesters at the time of application.
- Candidates should be a registered student of his / her institution and acceptance cum invitation letter from a German professor for the internship.
- All appliers who have been awarded a (Working Internships in Science and Engineering) WISE scholarship previously cannot apply again it.
Required Language
Skills: Applicants must have very good proficiency of the English
language and German language skills are not mandatory.
Amount of Scholarship:
- A monthly scholarship of 650 euros for UG students (the monthly installment will be calculated on a daily basis, i.e. 21.70 euros per day)
- A lump sum travel subsidy of 525 euros
- Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance covered by DAAD
- Participation in a meeting of DAAD scholarship-holders in Germany.
DAAD Selection Mode:
Candidates assortment for fellowship will be based on their
academic achievements and Results will be announced by beginning of February.
Note: Internships of less than two months duration cannot be
supported or we may say that Duration of fellowship is 2 to 3 months in the
period between May and July.

- Students should enter on the “Scholarship & Funding >> For India” link
- Press on the “Scholarship overview, application requirements, application procedure” link
- Move to “Submitting Application Form” tab
- Candidates should fill application form completely and carefully.
- Upload updated resume
- Press on the submit tab
- At last take a printout of submitted form and send hardcopy of filled application form along with filled certificate of enrollment, No Objection Certificate, Approval Form by German Host etc at given below address.
