- UG Programs: Candidates must have done their Higher Secondary or 10+2 Exam with the related stream from a recognized board of education.
- PG & PG Diploma Program: Candidates must have graduation in the related discipline or field from any recognized college or University.

For Distance Programmes:
- Students need to get Maulana Azad National Urdu University application of Eligibility Test for admission into B. A. by submitting a Bank Draft of Rs. 250/- in person or through Post by paying Rs. 280/-.
- Prospectus cum Application Forms are available in person on submission of DD of Rs. 200/- or Rs 280/- by post. The Demand Draft should be submitted in favour of the concerned Regional Centres.
For ITI Programmes: No
fees shall be charged for all the above programmes. Refundable caution
money deposit @ Rs. 60/- is to be deposited at the time of admission.

Relaxation
Criteria:
University allows age relaxation of 5 years in case of
SC/ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBCs and 10 years for PwD candidates.
Kashmiri migrants:
The relaxation in cut-off percentage is 10% subject to minimum eligibility
requirement, for Kashmiri migrants only and Domicile requirements are waived.
Selection
Process: Candidates will be appointed through Entrance Test/ merit list.
