Entrance Examinations Board will conduct counselling process in 05 steps that
are -
Step 1: Online

Online
Registration:
- At first, qualified applicants need to visit official webpage that is wbjeeb.nic.in.
- Then press on the “Counselling Registration and Choice Filling” link.
- Now candidates should fill the asked details properly and further press Login tab.
- Now move to “New candidate Registration” Tab.
- Then fill all the details carefully in proper manner.
- Press on the submit tab.
- After the process of registration, candidates are required to download the e-challan for paying the non-refundable requisite counselling fee.
- Now, Identity Code and Password will be created for the aspirant.
Choice
Filling:
- Now, second step is choice filling, candidates are required to fill their choices with the help of the Id and Password.
- Contenders will be able to fill the choices for the program and the participating colleges.
- For JEE Main and WBJEE aspirants must lock the choice before last date as shown below.
- The facility to submit the final choices on the due date and after that the submitted choices will be locked automatically.
Seat
Allotment:
- After, the process of WBJEE choice filling, seat allotment process will started. Process of seat allotment will be done through online mode.
- Candidates can check the status of seats by submitting the Aspirant’s ID and Password.
- On the basis of WBJEE or JEE Main seats for counseling will be allotted. Performance in class 12th will not be considered for counselling round.
- Process of seat allotment will be done in three rounds. In the first round, all the seats will be allotted to the candidates and the result indicating the institution and course allotted will be available on the website.
- In the second & third rounds, seats will be allotted against the available vacancies in the respective rounds, and the results will be available on the web site.
Reporting
and Document Verification:
- When the seat allotment process is done verification of documents will be done.
- Candidate need to submit all below mentioned documents at the time counseling with two photocopies of each at the designated verification centers to verify your Document and report at the Reporting Center (RC).
Confirmation
and Admission:
- After the verification of documents, confirmation of admission of applied candidates will be confirmed.
- At last, the aspirants will have to physically report at the allocated institute. Candidates, who will not do so, will not be granted admission.
