www.ignou.ac.in B.Ed Entrance Exam Notice Overview
Required Education:
1. Students must have obtained
at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s
Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering
or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or
any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the
programme.
2. The following categories are eligible to be students
of B.Ed. (ODL):
Trained in-service teachers in elementary education Or
All students who have completed a NCTE recognized
teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
The reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC
(Non creamy layer)/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the
Central Government/State Government, whichever is applicable.
Application Fee: Candidates need to submit
given below fee through proper channel.
- Cost of Application Form: Rs. 1,000/-including registration fee.
- Cost of Application Form: Rs. 1000/- at counter
- Cost of Application Form: Rs. 1050/- by post
Programme
Fee: Students
need to pay Rs. 20,000/- for entire programme in lump sum in first year only.
Fee should be paid only by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU payable
at the city where your Regional Centre is situated. Please write in capital
letters your name and programme to which admission is sought, i.e., B.Ed., on
the back of Demand Draft to ensure proper credit of your fee to relevant
account.
Selection
Process: selection
of students will be done based on B.Ed Entrance Exam and counselling.
Structure
Of The Entrance Test Paper For B.Ed:
The test paper will consist of two parts A & B. The
total number of test items will be 100 of one mark each. Maximum Marks allotted
to test is 100. The composite time for complete test is Two Hours.
