Eligibility Criteria: Students must have done graduate
(minimum 3 years duration) in any discipline from a recognized University.
Applicants in the final year of the qualifying examination are
also eligible to apply.
On the other hand, these contenders are needed to submit the
proof of their qualification before the course starts i.e. beginning of
October.
There no age criteria for the test.
There are no criteria for nationality.
Reservation: Seats are reserved
according to the rules of the Government of India. The reservations are subject
to applicants meeting the admission requirement of the Institute under
different categories
Selection
Process: Selection
of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in written test, group
discussion, essay writing and Interview.
Based on marks obtained in Written Test, candidates
will be called for Writing Skills Assessment, Group Discussion and Interview to
be held in January/ February.
Aspirants who give best performance in these round they
will get admission in Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
IIFT
Exam Pattern: The
entrance exam will be held in a paper-based mode and the question booklet will
include Multiple Choice Questions.
- The exam duration of the test is 120 minutes.
- The questions will be divided into 4 sections and applicant can expect around 124 – 128 questions.
- The marking scheme of each of the sections varies from each other.
- Also, the marks per question will vary; however, one-third of the marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
- The total marks of the test are 100 only. Last year, there were a total of 123 questions and difficulty level of the test was moderate.

Process to Apply Online:
- At first, students will have to visit official website that is www.iift.edu.
- Go to “Application form for Full Time MBA (IB)”.
- Press on the “Download Brochure” link.
- Press on the “Apply Online” link.
- Fill online application form completely.
- Candidates must upload required document in support of age, qualification, caste, experience etc and also upload latest passport size photograph.
- Press on the submit tab.
- Finally, take a print out for future use.
Process to Apply Offline:
- Candidates can purchase application form from office of IIFT at Delhi and Kolkata.
- Fill it completely and attach necessary documents.
- Fee via DD will have to enclose the demand draft of the applicable amount with full name, address and application number on the reverse of the demand draft.
- Also, two adhesive stickers/labels/name slips with applicant name and address written on it.
- A copy of the requisite certificate, if belonging to SC/ST/PH/OBC(non-creamy layer)category.
- A copy of the GMAT Scorecard, if belonging to Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI category
- Now completed application enclosed in an envelope and enclosures.
- At last send it at the given below address through Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier only.
