Eligibility
For CLAT UG Courses:
- Students must have passed the 12th examination with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).
- Candidates appearing the 12th examination in March/April will also be eligible for CLAT 2019. Such applicants have to produce the proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
- Applying candidate should not be above 20 years as on 1st July 2019 (for unreserved category candidates/NRIs/NRI Sponsored candidates) and 22 years for SC/ST/OBC/SAP category candidates.
For CLAT PG Courses:
- Students must have prescribed qualification for LL.M. is LL.B./Five-Year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.)/ any other equivalent exam.
- Minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination should be 55% for unreserved /OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP). In case of SC/ST, the minimum marks would be 50%.
- Final semester/final year examination appearing candidates may also apply.
Application Fee: Applicants need to
pay given below fee through online mode through net banking/credit
card or debit card. Category wise fee is mentioned below individuals can go
through it and pay the requisite amount of fee according to their category.

Exam
Pattern:
For
UG Courses: CLAT
online examination will operate for integrated UG law courses. CLAT Exam will
be held in online mode that is computer Based Test. Only objective type
questions are asked in examination that are of maximum 200 marks from each
subject areas. Total time duration for completing Common Law Admission Test
exam will be 2 hours. Medium of language in Common Law Admission Test exam will
be English only. Each right answer will be awarded with 1 mark on every wrong
answer 0.25 mark will be subtracted.

PG Courses:
Common Law Admission Test online examination will be held for post-graduate law
courses (i.e. LL.M.). Common Law Admission Test Exam will be held as per CLAT
Online Test Series that is computer Based Test. Only multiple-choice questions
of maximum 150 marks will be asked from each subject areas. Time duration of
CLAT exam will be 2 hours. The language of question paper will be English only.
Each right answer will be awarded with 1 mark and on every incorrect answer
0.25 mark will be subtracted.

Admit Card: To take
part in exam, proper admit card is necessary for all appearing students. CLAT
Admit Card will be updated on the official portal from 3rd week of April
2019 so you need to download admit card through online mode.

Answer Key: After
some days of examination you can check their performance of exam
through CLAT Answer Key in online mode. CLAT exam solution will be
published in the third week of May 2019. So, you may stick to official page on
regular basis to check their performance in examination before Common Law
Admission Test exam results.
CLAT
Result: Result
of CLAT will declare in the last week of May 2019 by National Law
Universities in India (NLU). You can check result through official website. Exam
passed candidates will be allowed to attend further CLAT Admission process.

Cut-Off: When
the declaration of CLAT results is done then CLAT cut off list will
be declared. After considering lots of factors for calculating the cut-off
marks like difficulty level of question paper, applicants attempted the exam
and previous year’s cut-off trends CLAT cut off list will be prepared.
CLAT
Merit List: When
the separate cut off list is issued for UG and PG programmes, category-wise
merit list will be declared National Law Universities in India along with the
result. CLAT Merit list will indicate state as well as All India Rank of
examinees. So, students may check the merit list to examine their overall performance
in examination.

Counselling: Exam
Qualified students will be called for counselling. Commencement of CLAT
Counselling will be done in the first week of June 2019 tentatively. CLAT
online counselling shall be conducted in four rounds. Allotment of seats will
be on the basis of ‘merit-cum-preference’. Students who are selected for
admission have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 50000/- with CLAT-2019 Office.
This fee will further adjusted in admission fee.
Way to Apply
- At first, candidates should visit official site that is www.clat.ac.in.
- Press on the “Apply Online” section.
- Press on the suitable link.
- Move to “Register Yourself” link.
- Applicants need to fill in the details in CLAT registration form and submit the form to receive the User ID and Password through Mail and/or SMS
- Registered students should enter on “Already Registered” link and login with previous id and password.
- After receiving User ID and Password again login to fill the application form
- Fill application Form completely and upload photograph, signature and all other required documents /certificates.
- Pay application fee through proper mode.
- Now recheck form and press on the submit tab.
- At last, take a print out for future use.
