Eligibility Criteria:
- Scholarship will be given to the students of 2nd and 3rd year B.Tech programmes as well as for Lateral entry students who join B.Tech programme in 2nd year.
- Second and third year full time regular UG Engineering programme student from an AICTE/UGC approved institution.
- Students need to complete all regular credit courses in a single attempt.
- Candidates need to secure at least 60% in aggregate for the semesters cleared so far or corresponding to CGPA of at least 6.5 in a 10 point scale in UG.
- Higher Secondary (or equivalent) marks should be above 60% or of equivalent grade to apply.
- No age limit.
- All candidates who participated in the previous year Scholarship award can also participate provided they were not the National level winner or Runners up.

2: IET Scholarship Test Online
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email.
- IET Scholarship Exam will be conducted from anywhere in India at their convenience.

Stage
3: Regional Level Assessment (Presentation on a Given Topic)
- Students will be selected on the basis of cut off marks in Stage 2.
- Shortlisted applicants need to give a presentation on a specific topic that will be given by the Jury members.
- Topic will be focused on solving a currently societal challenge, specific to the region.
- Topic will be communicated to the contestants at least 10 days in advance to allow them enough time to prepare.

Regional Assessment will be conducted in the respective 4 regions
- Regional South
- Regional North
- Regional East + North East
- Regional West
Stage
4: The National Finals (Presentation on an Engineering Problem)
- Qualified students in Stage 3 will be selected for National Finals.
- Afterwards, make presentation on vision and solution for an engineering problem that is relevant to the society.
- National Finals includes Group Discussion (GD) among the finalists.
- Topic for this GD will be given by the jury on the day of the National Finals.
