- SET- VI: M.Sc.
Reservation
of Seats:
- For Scheduled Caste (SC) – 15%
- For Scheduled Tribes (ST) – 7.5%
- For Physically Handicapped (PH) – 3% (within respective category including General Category)
- For Other Backward Classes (OBC) – 27%
- Few seats are available to NRI/Foreign Nationals in UG/PG programmes under DASA scheme.
- Students admitted in 2nd year of ICD programme through SET-IA will also not be considered for promotion to the higher module under the vertical promotion scheme of the institute.
Eligibility Criteria
Integrated Certificate- Diploma (ICD): All
students who have done class 10th from any recognized board they are
eligible to apply for ICD programme.
B.E. (Lateral Entry): Applying
students must have Diploma course in any discipline from any polytechnic
institute. The qualifying marks for un-reserved categories are 55% and 50% for
reserved category.
MBA (2-years): Applying
students must have passed graduation with Economics and Mathematics subjects
from any recognized university. An aspirant must score 55% aggregate marks (50%
for reserved category) in bachelor’s degree.
Ph.D (Full Time): Candidates
should have done Master’s in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Humanities/
Management with qualifying marks.
M.Tech (2-years): Applicants
must have B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) degree with minimum 60% aggregate marks is
needed to apply for M.Tech programme.
M.Sc (Full time): Students
must have passed B.Sc degree with relevant subjects from any recognized
university.
Application Fee: Students will
deposit fee through online mode using E-Challan/Net Banking/Debit card/Credit
card.
- For General and Other Categories (Boys): Rs.1200/-
- For General and Other Categories (Girls): Rs.800/-
- For SC/ST Categories (Boys & Girls): Rs.600/-
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be done on
the basis of Entrance Exam.

Exam
Pattern:
The SLIET SET will be last long for 150 minutes, SET-I,
SET-1A and SET-III will be conducted for 150 marks. The SET-V will runs for 120
minutes only and it consists of total 100 marks. There is a negative marking of
0.25 marks for each incorrect answer in SET-I, SET-1A and SET-III. The test
will be done through offline mode and a proper OMR Sheet will be given to every
aspirant.
