Procedure Of JCECE
Counselling:
- It includes exam score of Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam to announce the merit list of short listed candidates, eligible for counseling.
- These candidates have to report with their original documents at the place, stated in notification.
- JCECE Counseling Letter is to be downloaded by all candidates from official website. If any candidate failed to confirm any original documents at this stage, he/she will be declared disqualify.

Engineering Counseling 1st Phase
In the 1st Phase of JCECE counselling candidate will be
called according to merit list, academic records and shall be offered the seats
in the concerning streams available at that time.
Required Documents
at the time of JCECE Counseling
Candidates are advised to bring all the required original
documents at the time of the counseling otherwise you will not be allowed for
the admission procedures. Applicants are advised to bring the following
certificates/ documents for verification.
- Candidates must carry original certificates as well as one set of photocopies
- Four Recent Passport size color photos should be brought.
- Class XII Hall Ticket copy
- Class XII or Equivalent Exam Marks Sheet
- Class X Certificate for proof of date of birth
- e-admit Card
- Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate / School Leaving Certificate.
- Nativity Certificate for candidates hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern states
- SC/ST Community Certificate as specified
- Student Profile should be filled by the student
- Affidavit by the student & parent.

Phase
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board
will Conduct JCECE Second Round Counseling after the first round of JCECE
counseling gets over. During the first counselling if seats remain vacant
after admission of recommended candidates, JCECE 2nd round counseling will be
held. After the first round those candidates will not be selected, they will be
called for second phase.

Fee
Candidates in Jharkhand Engineering Counseling are required
to pay Rs 650 for General/ BC I / BC II candidates and Rs. 400 for SC/ST/Female
candidates through downloaded bank challan of United Bank or P.O. challan of
any computerized bank or Indian Postal Order from any post office.
JCECE Seat
Allotment
- Students are informed that seat allotment of branch and institute in private and government colleges in the state of Jharkhand will be done on the basis of merit-cum-choice of the candidates as well as the available vacant seats at the time of counselling.
- Candidates who had qualified Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam will be allotted seats in undergraduate programs by JCECEB on merit basis, reservation policies and other admission criteria.
- Afterwards candidates are required to pay admission fee as mentioned below and collect their provisional seat allotment letter and report to the college as specified.
Note: The balance fee must be paid while reporting to
the college.

- Appearing candidates in Counseling are required to submit admission fee before the seat allotment procedure.
- The Admission fee will be Rs. 1000 for General/ BC I / BC II and SC/ST/Female candidates.
- The fee will be paid through any process such as downloaded bank challan of United Bank or DD in favour of Controller of Examinations, JCECEB payable at Ranchi or I. P.O. challan of any computerized bank.
