Applicants may download CDS 2 Exam Hall Ticket through given
below steps.
Steps to Download CDS 2 Admit Card:
- First of all aspirants need to connect through internet network.
- Now applicants must visit official website of Union Public Service Commission that is www.upsc.gov.in
- On the home page, press on the “Admit Card” tab.
- Move to “Combined Defence Services Examination (II)” and press on the “Click Here” link.
- GO to “Have You Read & Taken the Print Out of 'Important Instructions” and press on the “Yes” tab.
- Candidates need to enter Registration Id or By Roll No.
If You Choose Option As
“By Registration ID”:
- Go on “By Registration Id” tab.
- Enter important details such as Registration Id in blank text boxes, date of birth & fill Captcha Code in provided box.
- Now press on the “Submit” button.
- CDS Call letter will be displayed on your computer screen within in a minute.
If You Choose Option As “By Roll No”:
- Now press on the “By Roll No” tab and now login page will be displayed on your computer screen.
- Enter the required details such as Roll Number, date of birth & Captcha Code in provided box.
- And press on “Submit” button after filling the details.
- CDS 2 Admit Card will be displayed on your computer screen download it or take print out of it.
Forgot Your RID (Registration ID)?
- Dear candidates if you forget RID, then you need to fit on “Forgot RID” tab and then choose “Hit Here” tab.
- This will take you to the new page, which is exactly looks like below given image.
- Submit required details such as Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date Of Birth and Confirm Random Image and enter on “Submit” button.
- Now registration id will be sent to Your Registered Email and Mobile No.
- Now obtain call letter by entering the registration id.
- At last, take print out of UPSC Combined Defence Services CDS 2 Admit Card and bring it at the time of examination.

Marking
Scheme:
For each incorrect response only one-third (1/3) marks
will be deducted.
More than one response will be treated as wrong answer
and 1/3rd mark will be deducted.
If a question left blank there will be no marks and
penalty will be given to candidates.
Further
Selection Process: All candidates who will qualify the CDS
II Exam will have to undergo for the further round. Union public service
commission will conduct Interview for Intelligence and Personality Test.
Interview test will be conducting in 2 stages. First stage is comprises
of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception Description Test
(PP & DT). Those who qualify the fist will appear for II stage. Stage II is
consists of Interview, Group discussion, Psychology Tests and the Conference.
This is conducted continue for 4 days. After qualifying both stages of
interview, candidates have to submit the original documents to the specified
address.
Important
Instructions That You Must Know:
Remember
Before Exam: Write
your Name, Roll Number, Registration ID and Name & Year of the Examination
in all the communications with UPSC. Bring this e-Admit Card in each session to
safe admission to Examination Hall. Enter the Examination Hall 20 minutes
before the starting of the examination.UPSC Combined Defence Services Exam Admit
card may be preserved till the declaration of result as its production before
Service Selection Boards is necessary.
Required
Documents: Entrants, who do not have clear
photographs on the e-admit card/signatures on the Scannable Attendance Lists,
have to bring a photo identity proof like Adhar Card, Driving Licence,
Passport, Voter Id Card etc. and three passport size photographs one for each
session for appearing in the examination with an undertaking.
Articles
permitted inside Examination Hall: Clip board or hard board (on which nothing
is written) a good quality Black Ball Pen for filling answers are allowed to be
brought at time of exam. Answer Sheet and sheet for rough work will be supplied
by the invigilator.
Prohibited
Items in Exam: books,
notes, loose sheets, electronic or any other type of calculators, mathematical
and drawing instruments, Log Tables, stencils of maps, slide rules, Test
Booklets and rough sheets pertaining to earlier session(s) etc. Mobile Phones,
Calculators, Bluetooth, pagers o or any of the IT Gadgets are not allowed
inside the premises where the examination is being conducted.
Method
of Marking Answers: In the ‘OBJECTIVE TYPE’ of
examination, you don’t need to write complete answers. You have to choose only
right answer from responses (a), (b), (c), (d). in answer sheet Serial Nos.
From 1 to 160 are printed. Against each numbers, there are circles. You have
choose correct answer and mark your response by completely blackening with
black ball pen to indicate your response.
