Exam Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria:
For Engineering/Architecture Courses:
- Students should be qualified 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
- Examination should be passed with Mathematics & Physics as a main subject & English as a language subject.
- Applicants should score at least 45% marks (40% marks in SC/ST category) in physics and mathematics along with one of the subjects, i.e. Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Chemistry/Computer science.
- If you are appearing for architecture course, having valid NATA score card.
For
Pharmacy/Science Courses:
Candidates are required to pass their 2nd PUC/10+2 or
equivalent with PCB and English as a language subject.
Those students have secured minimum 50% marks (40% in
case of SC/ST Category) in PCB group, may apply for Pharmacy/Science Courses.
For other State Students:
All candidates, who are belonging from Jammu and
Kashmir State they need to submit migration certificate which they can get from
the Deputy Commissioner and jurisdictional District Magistrate of any state in
India.
Age
Relaxation:
Those students date of birth falls on or after first
October 1997 (for general and OBC Applicants) are capable to take part in the
exam.
Those students belong to SC/ST/PWD will get relaxation
in age of 5 to 6 years
Students should have completed 17 years of age.
KCET
Exam Pattern:
- Mode of Exam: The exam will be held through offline mode (pen & paper based).
- Types of Question: Question paper will be Multiple Choice Type Question.
- Number of Questions: Total 60 question will be asked from each section.
- Time Duration: The total time duration is 320 minutes for the whole exam. Each section will be given 80 minutes.
- Marking Scheme: One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking: There is no provision for negative marking. No marks will be deducted for incorrect answer.
